2008 is well in gear and I just have not done as much as I had planned. Oh sure I graduated College with a bachelors degree, celebrated one year at my current job at the church and enjoyed my time of only having to work and getting to party which is all good. The bad part is I can't seem to find a job that an employer thinks I would be a good fit for; I have been on 4 interviews whether in person or over the phone in the nine months I have been out of school. Only one of the inerviews got to the second level which is horrible to me. I have went beyond gaining back the weight I lost so I am now more overweight then I have ever been which is bad. My alchohol consumption has increased which may be a bad thing to some a plus to others that like to party. And I am not sure whether to keep looking or enroll back in school to get the rest of my batchelors or go for the whole enchilada and get my masters.
I swear sometimes I think it would have been better to go to mechanic school then go to a hot rod building school and also learn how to pin stripe at least then I would know what I was going to do for the next 20 years or so. Some would feel trapped by that but not me my life is unpredictable enough without me having to worry about my future full time employment.
So I guees I gotta lose some weight, if I do my life insurance will improve as well as my health insurance. Not for getting my health and the ability to pick up girles which lets be honest is very important to a single guy. Also I think if I am not mistaken it will improve my chances to get a job.
In other not so depressing news I got a new gizmo that will make me the envy of many...of geeks; I now have a Playstation 3. This 80GB system is sssoooooooo ssssuuuuuuuwwwweeeet with amazing graphics and the ability to play movies like I have never seen before if I had an HD TV and a kickin' surround sound system it would be better then going to the movies theatre plus you can play some pretty awesome games.
I found a pretty awesome band to infatuate over they are called Lucero, not the Spanish band by the same name but the Alternative Country band. They are what Bruce Springsteen would sound like if he was raised by June Carter Cash and Joey Ramone; punk country music with a little nip of gospel. The cd I got of theirs has not left my player for a solid week it is just so good. The problem I had is that their stuff is older and not many places carry their catalogue of cds but I found them online and I have more coming to me. The cd I have is the one at the top and the ones I am getting are "That Much Further West" and "Tennessee". They should be pretty awesome.
Well thats all Gobble, Gobble!
